At Clubhouse Baseball Academy it is our mission to provide a high level of competitive baseball that promotes an environment of hard work, respect and accountability that every player can use, not only in baseball, but in life. It is our goal to help players grow and develop their individual skills in a team setting and create an opportunity for exposure to continue their careers as student-athletes, who go on to earn a college degree.

The philosophy at CBA is to be an organization with a strong foundation of fundamentally sound, smart baseball players. Our players will play the game the right way, with respect for each other, our opponents, the officials, coaches and for the game of baseball. CBA staff will always hold our players accountable, to be STUDENT-athletes. We look to build baseball players who take pride in their academics, have a strong work ethic, and develop them in to quality young men. As a member of the CBA organization, we look for/try to create, baseball players who play the game as hard as they can every time they step on the field, no matter the setting or situation, practice or game. Every day we show up to the field, we will get after it start to finish, with game like tempo, intensity and focus. Defensively we will be fundamentally sound through continuous individual drill work that requires a level of accountability from each player, so that as a team we can grow. Offensively we will be aggressive at the plate by looking to get our pitch early in the count, and adjusting when we fall behind. On the bases, we will always look to take the extra base and score runs early and often, which will put pressure on our opponents from start to finish. Our pitchers will attack early and make hitters beat us, if we are fundamentally sound on defense then our goal of a trusting team dynamic, can be accomplished every time we step on the field. If our pitchers learn to trust their defense, and our defense trust our offense then we create an environment of selflessness, where our players are now playing for something bigger than themselves. We will hold each other to a high standard on and off the field, with a common goal. CBA players will know their roles from day one, in every situation whether you are on the field or on the bench. We will learn to play through all adversity, which baseball and life will bring. We will be comfortable in uncomfortable situations by preparing mentally and physically every day we come to the park. As a team and individuals we will learn from our mistakes and experiences on and off the field. We will share our successes and failures as a team, but learn to have a short memory so that we are always ready for our next move. All coaches and players will preach positive attitudes in this environment of growth and development. As a baseball player or coach we will be driven by the PROCESS and not the result, when we take the field as a team we EXPECT to win. Finally, we will always be mentally prepared and know that we must focus on controlling what we can control, and not getting hung up on things we can’t. As an organization, if we live by the philosophies discussed above, we inevitably will grow not only as baseball players and coaches but as successful human beings in society.
